TRIPLETT, JAMES K.
James Kelly Triplett, age 92, of Hillsboro, died Sunday, July 24, 2016, at Pocahontas Center in Marlinton.
Born January 18, 1924, at Anthony, he was a son of the late Elmer and Darthula Peyton Triplett.
Kelly was a retired buffer for Rockwell International. He served in the Marine Corps during World War II.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Triplett; a sister, Mary Sibyl Fowler Burks; and six brothers, Thomas Earl Triplett, Arthur Clay Triplett, Herman Austin Triplett, Kenneth Buryl Triplett, Edgar Vernon Triplett and Elmer Ray Triplett.
He is survived by three sisters, Dorothy Eagle, of Terre Haute, Indiana, Ruby Evelyn Mitchell, of Bridgewater, Virginia, and Thelma Grace Buchanan, of Hillsboro; and a brother, General Franklin Triplett.
Funeral service is July 27, 1 p.m. at VanReenen Funeral Home with Pastor James Burks officiating. Interment will be in Ruckman Cemetery with Military Rites by the Pocahontas County Veterans Honor Corps.
