KLEIN, EARL C.

Earl [July 28, 2016] was born in Auburn, WA to Otto and Mary Klein. He joined the Marine Corps at 18 and proudly served his country, battling on many islands and in China. His bravery earned him the Bronze Star, Purple Heart, and a commendation from the President of the United States. Upon his discharge, he returned to Washington and met the love of his life, Evelyn Wagener. They were married on July 1, 1950. They lived happily for many years with their children Polly, Peggy, Sandy, Patty, Sonny and Debbie. Sadly, they were parted in 1975 when Evelyn passed away due to illness. Also, we lost Sandy after a struggle with cancer in 2015. Earl also enjoyed 16 grandchildren plus numerous great and great-great grandchildren. In 1977, he met the second love in his life, Carolyn LaRonge. Her three children, Daleen, Kevin and Sharlyn plus her grandchildren and great-grandchildren combined with his made a big happy family. They were parted in 2013 when Carolyn passed from heart problems. Earl is and always has been our beloved hero. Anyone who ever met him loved him and he will be missed by all. We love you, Earl!
