MYRICK, DEAN R.

SAN DIEGO, Cal., March 20 (AP)—Two men stationed at the Marine Corps recruit depot were killed today [March 20, 1952] when the automobile in which they were riding crashed into a Santa Fe Railway switch engine.

Dead are Corp. Dean R. Myrick, 29, and Pfc. Ernest A. Sherf, 24.

Patrolman Paul Hayes Jr. said Myrick was driving the car when it struck the locomotive which was crossing Pacific highway on a Consolidated Vultee Aircraft Corp siding.
