WRIGHT, ROY C.
PANAMA CITY – Roy Claude Wright, 47, of Panama City, died Tuesday night [December 14, 1965] at his home.
Mr. Wright was a native of DeFuniak Springs. He was a bookkeeper and self-employed.
Mr. Wright was a veteran of World War II.
He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Winford Wright of Panama City; four daughters, Mrs. Barbara Mixon of New Orleans, Mrs. Betty Slack of Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi, Miss Sylvia Holley of Blountstown and Camilla Wright of Panama City; two sons, Raymond Wright of Lakeland and Clayton Holley of Blountstown; two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Calhoun of Panama City and Mrs. Callie Brannon of DeFuniak Springs; a brother, Lester Wright of DeFuniak Springs and one grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Southerland Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. James Morris officiating.
Pallbearers will be Alvis Taylor, Dallas Carroll, Quincy Newson, W. W. Starling, Kermit Cauley and N. L. Wright.
Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery at DeFuniak Springs.
