WRIGHT, CLYDE J.

FALLON – Visitation for Clyde John Wright, 68, who died Wednesday [April 26, 1989] at Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center, Reno, is scheduled from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Austin, Matson and Smith Funeral Home and from 10 to the 11 a.m. Saturday funeral at Fallon Nevada Stake Center.

A native of Moab, Utah, he was born Feb. 22, 1921, and had lived in Fallon for the past 23 years, coming from Moab.

Wright was a retired miner, bishop of Fallon LDS Church 2nd Ward and a Marine veteran of World War II.

His first wife, Lavonne “Bonnie,” died in July 1985.

Surviving are his widow, Coral, daughters Cherri Bauer and Shirlee Jonetta and a son, Clyde John Jr., all of Fallon; brothers, Keith of San Diego, and Don of Palo Alto, Calif.; sister, Dixie Dyer of Hazen, Nev.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Burial with full military honors will be at Fallon Cemetery.
