WAGAMAN, LYLE E.

Cpl. Lyle E. Wagaman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Otis E. Wagaman, residing four miles north of Moscow, was killed in action at Iwo Jima on Feb. 22 [1945], according to a telegram received by the parents Wednesday night.

Cpl. Wagaman was a member of 5th United States Marine Corps Division in the now historic conquest of that Japanese-held island.
