TOWER, EVERETT L.
RANSOMVILLE, N.Y.—Corporal Everett L. Tower, of the United States Marine Corps, has been killed in action [June 29, 1943] with the American forces fighting the war of freedom, according to a notice received by his mother, Mrs. H. P. Tower, of this village. The location where he met his death is not known here.
Corporal Tower was a graduate of the Wilson High School and was widely known in this vicinity. He is survived by his parents and three sisters, Garnette, Clarissa and Loretto Tower, all at home; two brothers, Gordon Tower, of South Avenue, Niagara Falls, and Gerald V. Tower, now a member of the armed forces, and by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Goodfellow, of Ransomville.
