STORY, ROBY F.

Robert “Bob” Fenton Story, 79, of Richmond, departed this life on July 26, 2005. He is preceded in death by his mother, Hilda Powell Story. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Sarah K.; and sons, Stephen Warren, Doug, Randy and Jimmy Story; stepchildren, Norma and Dick Twisdale; as well as brother, L. Earl Story of Colonial Heights; several nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Mr. Story was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. He was a veteran of WWII having served with the Fourth Marine Raiders in the Pacific. A memorial service will be held at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Thursday, July 28 at 7 p.m., with Pastors Andy Rist and Bernard Whitlow officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Oak Grove Baptist Church, Building Fund or to the Bensley-Bermuda Rescue Squad.
