SRYGLEY, CLAYTON R.

Clayton Srygley passed away July 13, 2007 in Oklahoma Veterans Hospital in Claremore, Oklahoma. He was born Feb. 20, 1924 in Lakeview, Hall County, Texas to his parents Oscar Arvin and Ethel Wallace Srygley. He married Mary Wallen July 23, 1966. He retired from Phillips Petroleum, Phillips, Texas on July 1, 1985. He and Mary lived in Howardwick, Texas after retirement. He served in the U.S. Marine Raiders in World War II. He was baptized in the Church of Christ, Lakeview, Texas, the faith of his mother, as a child.

Survivors include his wife Mary Srygley, Tulsa Okla.; daughter Beverly Wilke, Lubbock, Texas; stepsons Rodney Wallen, El Paso, Texas and Mark Wallen, Tulsa, Okla.

Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at Englewood Cemetery by Englunds Funeral Home of Slaton.
