SMITH, WILSON S.

Wilson S. Smith, 76, a former Wilmington resident and a 25-year veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, died Thursday [March 27, 1975] in the Bay of Pines Veterans Administration Hospital, St. Petersburg, Fl., after a short illness. Mr. Smith was a retired Marine Corps master sergeant and a World War II veteran. He lived at 245 Central Ave., St. Petersburg.

He is survived by a brother, H. Goldsborough Smith of St. Petersburg. Services will be Thursday, at 11 a.m. at the Chandler Funeral Home, 2506 Concord Pike, Sharpley. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
