SALONE, FREDERICK J.

GENEVA – Frederick J. Salone, 45, formerly of this city and a veteran of World War II died Tuesday, Aug. 18, 1964 in Lansdale, Pa., shortly after returning from a family reunion in this city.

In Lansdale, Salone lived at 315 W. 5th St. He was one of the sons of Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Salone of 42 John St., who on Monday observed their 50th wedding anniversary.

A military funeral will be held Friday in Lansdale for the Marine veteran. He is survived by his widow, Josephine Geldi Salone; a son, Frederick, Jr., both of Lansdale; three brothers, Frank and William of Geneva, and Dominick of Jamestown; four sisters, Mrs. Josephine Hendrix and Mrs. Palma Liberatore of Geneva, Mrs. Angie Wili of Ogdensburg, and Mrs. Tessie Scherr of Miami, Fla., and several nieces and nephews.
