Robert J. O’Donovan Sr., 83, Marine Corps veteran of WWII, of Edison Park [December 30, 2006]. Beloved husband of the late Marion C., nee Zurawski; loving father of Patricia (William) Hearn, Kathleen (Dane) Cleven, Mary Ellen (Wayne) Carlson, Timothy O’Donovan and the late Robert J. (Nora) O’Donovan Jr.; proud grandfather of Laura, Michael, Beth and Mary Kate Hearn, Joan, Ann and the late Peter Cleven, Kathleen and Lynn Carlson, Courtney, Colleen, Caitlin and Cara O’Donovan and Kelly and Olivia O’Donovan; also preceded in death by six sisters and three brothers; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Tuesday, from 3 until 9 p.m. at the M. J. Suerth Funeral Home, 6754 N. Northwest Highway, Chicago. Prayers Wednesday, 9:30 a.m., at the funeral home to the Church of St. Juliana.
