RICHESON, THEODORE L.
SACRAMENTO – Theodore L. Richeson, 68, a retired account representative for Westinghouse-KFWB Radio in Los Angeles, died Thursday [December 21, 1989] in his Sacramento home of heart failure.
Most of his career was in broadcasting. His resume included such stations as KREM in Spokane, KCRA in Sacramento and KMPC-AM/710 and KFWB-AM/980 in Los Angeles. He retired from KFWB in 1986.
While working in Sacramento as station manager for KCRA radio, Mr. Richeson set up KCTC-FM radio, one of the first FM stations in the area.
He also served a term as president of the Better Business Bureau.
A native of Hot Springs, Mont., Mr. Richeson received a degree in international affairs from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Wash. He served in the Marine Corps during World War II and the Korean War.
