Scotch Plains—Funeral services will be held tomorrow for Peter Paul Preuss of 1341 Graymill Dr., who died Wednesday [November 1, 1961] in the New England Baptist Hospital, Boston, after a short illness. He was a plastics engineer with Gilbert Plastics Inc., of Kenilworth.
Born in New York, he had resided here since 1948. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Margery Stryker Preuss, two sons, Jere and Paul Preuss, and two daughters, Elizabeth and Nancy Preuss, all at home; a sister, Miss Anne Preuss of New York and his step-mother, Mrs. W. H. Preuss of Warehouse Point, Conn.
Mr. Preuss was a member of the Congregational Church of Plainfield. He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War 2, and spent four years in the Pacific area.
The funeral will be conducted in the A. M. Runyon & Son Funeral Home, Plainfield, tomorrow at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Willard A. Bicket, pastor of the Congregational Church. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Cancer Fund.
