POWARZYNSKI, EDWARD F.
A funeral mass will be said today for Edward “Chick” Powarzynski, 74, of Junction City, Wis., formerly of Burbank, who died Sunday [May 18, 1996] at Wausau Hospital in Wausau, Wis., after an illness.
Mr. Powarzynski was a retired truck driver.
A Marine veteran of World War II, Mr. Powarzynski served in the Carlson Raiders. He was a past commander of the McDonald-Linn Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5416, a life member of the Mosinee Memorial VFW Post 8733 and a member of the Donnell-Eddy American Legion and the U.S. Marine Raider Association.
Survivors include his wife. Rita Powarzynski of the home; two daughters, Cathleen Conforti and Diane Rondeau; a son, John Powarzynski; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Mass will be said at 9:30 a.m. today at St. Albert the Great Church, 5555 State Road, Burbank. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice.
