POOLE, DIXON D.
LAKE OSWEGO, Ore. – Dixon David Poole, 58, former Billings, Mont., resident who had lived three years in Lake Oswego, died of a heart attack at his home Oct. [18, 1970]. While in Billings, he managed the Marshall Wells Hardware on Grand Avenue. He was a member of the Elks, the Moose and the Toastmasters in Billings.
Funeral services were conducted by Bend Elks Lodge with private burial following the service.
Survivors include the widow, Polly; two sons, Dixon L. of San Jose, Calif. and David W., a student at the University of Oregon; a daughter, Mrs. Susan Nowland, Spokane, Wash.; three sisters and a brother; his mother, Mrs. L. D. Poole of Bend, Ore.; and seven grandchildren.
