OLSEN, CARL A.

PEKIN – Carl A. Olsen Jr., 49, of 1019 S. Twelfth was dead on arrival at Pekin Memorial Hospital at 3:05 a.m. Saturday [August 15, 1970]. Death was attributed to a heart attack.

Private funeral services will be Monday at Kuecks Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.

There will be no visitation.

He was born Aug. 6, 1921, at Cylinder, Iowa, a son of Carl A. and Mayme Buchanan Olsen Sr. He married Betty McConnell Feb. 19, 1951, at Las Vegas, Nev.

Surviving are his wife; his parents, Pekin; three brothers, Woodrow, Pekin; Raymond, Castro Valley, Calif.; Earl, Peoria; three sisters, Mrs. Louise Bent, Chillicothe; Mrs. Betty Monn, Pekin; Mrs. Pat Lairmore, Green Valley.

Memorials may be made to the Heart Association.
