MCWILLIAMS, HAROLD F.

Funeral services were held Saturday for Harold Franklin McWilliams, 42, of Crete, who died Wednesday [October 12, 1966] as a result of injuries received that night in an auto accident.

Services were held at Crete Methodist Church with the Rev. Eugene Carter officiating. Burial was in the Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Steger.

Born February 13, 1924, in Johnson City, Ill., Mr. McWilliams had been a resident of Crete for the past five years. A brick mason, he was a member of the brick masons union in Herrin, Ill., and a Marine veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Annie Carr of Crete; his father, Barney McWilliams of Lafayette, Colo.; three sons, Harold of Altoona, Iowa, and Michael and Steve, both of Joliet; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Roberts and Mrs. Mildred Estes, both of Crete, and three brothers, Alton of Longmont, Colo., Floyd of Lafayette, Colo., and Horace of Homewood.
