MCGRATH, ARTHUR A.
Arthur A. McGrath, 62, 201 S. 3rd St., died at 3:13 p.m. today [April 7, 1984] in Memorial Hospital.
He was born March 14, 1922, in Chicago to Thomas J. and Beatrice Anheier McGrath. He was married in 1977 to Dorothy Hauser, who survives.
McGrath was a retired Conrail brakeman.
He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, VFW, American Legion and the Eagles Lodge.
He was a cum laude graduate of the University of Notre Dame.
Also surviving are two sons, Matthew T., Sparta, N.J., and Billy Vest, San Lorenzo, Calif.; and one brother, Thomas, Dayton, Ohio.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with the Revs. Fred Schroeder and Richard Weisenberger officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Eagles memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
