MATHAUER, GEORGE E.

George Mathauer, age 81, of Fairfield, passed away in Mercy Hospital-Fairfield, Saturday, May 1, 1999. He was the owner/operator of Mathauer & Associates for the last 53 years. Survived by his wife Helen (Pater) Mathauer of Fairfield; two sons, Stephen Mathauer of Fairfield and Richard Mathauer of Dallas, Texas; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Fairfield, Wednesday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Tuesday from 5-8 p.m.
