MARDEN, RALPH L.

Former Corvallis resident Ralph L. Marden died of cancer Thursday, Sept. 2 [2004] in Bend. He was 89.

He was born in Nowlin, S.D., to Charles H. and Ethel Adell (Buck) Marden.

He served in the Marine Corps during World War II.

He worked as a handyman and had lived in Corvallis for 10 years prior to moving to the Bend/Redmond area.

He enjoyed traveling and fishing.

Survivors include his nieces and nephews, Daryl Pankalla of Philomath, Pat Williams of Redmond, L. P. Williams of Eugene, and Ray Williams of Storm Lake, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Private services will be held.
