LYTE, FRANK G.

CASPER – Services for Frank G. Lyte, 71, will be conducted Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Oregon Trail Veterans Cemetery by Rev. Bill Iiams of the First United Methodist Church.

Mr. Lyte died Aug. 5, 1991, at the Wyoming Medical Center. He was born March 11, 1920, in Kane, Pa., the son of Thomas and Hazel (Moran) Lyte. He graduated with a B.S. degree in petroleum engineering from Pennsylvania State University in State College, Pa.

He lived in Bartlesville, Okla., at various times from 1946 to 1965. In 1971, Mr. Lyte moved to Casper from Denver, Colo.

On Feb. 4, 1949, he married Tommie Toalson in Tulsa, Okla.

Mr. Lyte was a member of the First Methodist Church in Littleton, Colo., Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity and the Marine Raider Association. He was also a member in the Disabled American Veterans organization and the Casper Municipal Golf Club.

Survivors include his wife and son, Mike, both of Casper; and one sister, Jean Dolan of Akron, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by one infant sister.

Flowers or memorials to the Blue Envelope Health Fund would be appreciated by the family.
