LUSHER, LLOYD R.

Services for Cpl. Lloyd R. Lusher, 30, a Marine who was killed September 11 [1951] in Korea, will be held at 1:30 o’clock Saturday at the Mt. Washington Baptist Church. Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery. The body will be at the Carson Chapel, Independence, until the services.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Altalea Lusher, and two sons, Michael, 5, and Patrick, 2, of the home, 308 North Cedar Avenue, Mt. Washington; his father, Corba Lusher, 4318 Cambridge Street, Kansas City, Kansas; his mother, Mrs. Leora Price, Truckee, Calif.; three brothers, Harley Lusher, 36121/2 Truman Road, Robert Lusher, Truckee, and Earl Lusher, 4318 Cambridge; two sisters, Mrs. Ilene Foster, Truckee, and Miss Carol Sue Lusher, 4318 Cambridge, a stepsister, Miss Georgiene Jones, 4318 Cambridge; the maternal grandmother, Mrs. Claudia Overton, 3021 Cissna Street, Kansas City, Kansas, and paternal grandmother, Mrs. Mary Lusher, 3069 North Twenty-first Street, Kansas City, Kansas.
