LONGO, LEWIS
Lewis “Lew” Longo, 77, of Clearwater, Fla., formerly of San Bruno, Calif., and Allentown, died Jan. 21 [2000] in Bay Pines Veterans Administration Medical Center, Florida. He was the husband of Lucille Longo for 56 years.
He was a bus driver for the city and county of San Francisco, Calif. and Lehigh Valley Transit Co., Allentown.
Born in Hazelton, he was a son of Rocco and Rose (Jafea) Longo.
He was a Catholic.
He was a Marine Corps 1st Marine Raider Battalion veteran of World War II.
Survivors: Wife; daughter, Judith, wife of Thomas Rotar of Thornton, Colo.; brothers, Thomas Dellatore of Panama City, Fla., Anthony Dellatore and Carlo Dellatore, both of Bethlehem, Robert Dellatore of Allentown; sisters, Lucille Burgas of Harrison, N.Y., Ernestine Schultz of Allentown, Natale Rotar of Frisco, Colo., and two grandchildren.
Services: Were held in the Moss Feaster Funeral Homes Serenity Gardens Chapel, Largo, Fla.
