LITTLEJOHN, MARVIN L.

PHILLIPSBURG – Marvin L. Littlejohn, 70, died Thursday, Jan. 27, 1994, at Research Medical Center, Kansas City, Mo.

He was born April 6, 1923, in Palisade, Colo., to Leroy and Beatrice (Gabbert) Littlejohn. He married Hope Culbertson June 15, 1956, in Phillipsburg. He was an accountant and 16-year member Republican member of the Kansas House of Representatives. He was a member of the Episcopal Church, VFW and Mount Suribachi Marine Corps League.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, Tim, Phillipsburg; his mother, Beatrice Littlejohn, Pleasant Valley, Mo.; three sisters, Mary Johnson and Mildred Starr, both of Pleasant Valley, Mo., and Laura Williams, Kansas City, Mo.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren,

Service is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Monday at Olliff-Boeve Chapel with the Rev. Dennis Gilhousen officiating; burial in Fairview Cemetery, Phillipsburg, with Marine Corps honors.

Visiting hours are from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and from 9 a.m. until service time Monday at the mortuary.
