LEAKE, JOHN C.

WOODRUFF – John Calhoun Leake, 44, died Saturday [January 10, 1970].

A native of Greenville County, son of Mrs. Mary Bryson Leake of Simpsonville and the late John H. Leake, he was a member of Fountain Inn Presbyterian Church, the American Legion and the VFW, a retired service veteran of the Army, Air Force, and Marines, and an employee of Marshall Farms at Greenville.

Surviving also are his wife, Mrs. Isabelle Horner Leake; two sons, John C. Leake Jr., U.S. Army, Vietnam, and Robert T. Leake of the home; and a daughter, Miss Mary Rose Leake of the home.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Cannon Funeral Home, Fountain Inn. The family is at the home of his mother, Bryson Drive, Rt. 1, Simpsonville.
