LAUGHLIN, GORDON W.

Gordon Wilson Laughlin, 56, of 552 E. 10th St., Beaumont, died Saturday [January 4, 1975] in Redlands. Born in McDonald County, Mo., he had lived in Beaumont for 14 years.

Laughlin owned and operated the Beaumont Ave. Barber Shop in Beaumont. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the United States Marine Corps from 1937 to 1945.

Survivors include his wife, Pearl; a daughter, Patricia Switzer of Orange, Calif.; a son, Corporal Michael Laughlin, U.S. Marine Corps, Camp Pendleton; two sisters, Ava Kerr of Yucca Valley and Ova Lewis of Pineville, Mo.; three bothers, Ather of Beaumont, George A. of Purdy, Mo., and Russell of Burns, Ore.; and one grandchild.

Graveside services were held Tuesday at the Stewart Sunnyslope Cemetery under the direction of Weaver Mortuary.
