KLISZ, LEO E.
Leo Edward Klisz, 75, of 252 Glenwood Ave., Syracuse, died Thursday [July 1, 1999] at home.
Born in Syracuse, he was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II. He was a press operator at Carrier Corp. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, a member of Sheet Metal Workers Local 527, and American Legion Valley Post 1468.
Survivors: His wife of 53 years, the former Elinor Morgan; a daughter, Michele N. Dailey Craven of Syracuse ; a son, Stephen M. of Marcellus; three sisters, Mary Thom and Stella Lieb, both of Syracuse , and Helen Klisz of Woonsocket, R.I.; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Services: 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home and 9 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 300 Valley Drive, Syracuse. Burial, St. Mary’s Cemetery Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum, DeWitt. Calling hours, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, 4612 S. Salina St., Syracuse.
