KELLEY, JOHN E.

DAUPHIN – John E. Kelley, age 82, of Dauphin, died Saturday, August 20, 2005 at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.

He was a retired employee of United Water Company, Harrisburg. He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II, and a Marine Raider, serving in the South Pacific and Quantico, VA. He was a member of American Legion Post 272, Harrisburg; and Eagles Club, Carlisle.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen Maxwell Kelley; one daughter, Audrey L. Thomas and husband, Kevin E. Thomas of Camp Hill; and two grandchildren, Megan and Ryan Thomas.

Services will be held Wednesday, August 24, 2005 at 11 a.m., in Stone Glen Church of God, 1030 Stoney Creek Road, Dauphin, with Rev. Sandra Baney officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Duncannon, with military honors. Viewing will be held on Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. from the church.
