JADCZUK, FRANK J.
Frank J. Bauer Sr., 65, a Town of Poughkeepsie resident, died Tuesday [January 5, 1988] at St. Francis Hospital, town.
He was an engineer with the Metro-North Railroad, Poughkeepsie for 39 years, retiring in 1986
A lifelong local resident, he was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, and the Railroad Old Timers.
He served in the U.S. Marines, 6th Marine Division, 1st Raider Battalion in the Philippines between 1942 and 1945.
He was a member of St. Peter’s Church, Hyde Park.
He was born Dec. 8, 1922, in Chicago, to Joseph and Victoria Kotarba Jadczuk.
On July 6, 1947, in St. Peter’s Church, he married the former Dorothy Fitzpatrick, who survives.
Other survivors a son, Frank J. Bauer Jr. of Poughkeepsie; a daughter, Janice Farley of Wappingers Falls; a sister, Jean Faszwaski of Rye (Westchester County); two brothers, Walter Jadczuk and Alex Stewart, both of Long Island; and two grandchildren.
