HUMAN, HOWARD C.

A former general manager of the Raleigh-Wyoming Mining Co., which folded in 1961, was killed Friday [March 22, 1963] in a Tennessee traffic accident.

Howard C. Human, 39, died when his car crashed into the rear of a gasoline truck near Jasper, Tenn.

According to a former neighbor, Human, with his wife and child, lived at 115 Hall St., Beckley, until the Glen Rogers mining company was dissolved in 1961.

Tennessee police said Human, general superintendent of Tennessee Product and Chemical Corp.’s Reels Cove mine, was believed to have been on his way to a hearing at Chattanooga which involved the United Mine Workers of America, the National Labor Relations Board and area coal companies.
