Hollenbeck, Leon Rho Jr. 73 of 110C Biltmore Dr., Horseheads, NY; Friday, July 21, 1995. Mr. Hollenbeck was born February 28, 1922 in Elmira, NY, the son of Leon Rho & Myra B. Nichols Hollenbeck. He was a veteran of WWII, serving his country with the US Marine Corps. Mr. Hollenbeck was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Horseheads, NY & was a retired employee of New York Telephone. He is survived by his wife June E. Dunbar Hollenbeck; daughters & sons-in-law April & Leo Tetreault of Plainville, MA, Ruth and Steven Spencer of Wellsburg, NY, Julie & Donald Casey, Jr. of Glendale, AZ; son & daughter-in-law L. Rho & Brenda Hollenbeck of Summerville, SC; 9 grandchildren; brother-in-law & sister-in-law Harvey & Lenora Dunbar of Keuka Lake, NY & Palm Coast, FL; several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call at the VanBuskirk-Lynch Funeral Home, Mill St. & Grand Central Ave., Horseheads, NY, Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Mr. Hollenbeck’s Funeral & Committal Services will be conducted at the conclusion of calling hours, the Rev. Everett Kaufman, Sr., the Rev. Burdette Mason & the Rev. Len Chayka, officiating. Interment in Maple Grove Cemetery, Horeseheads, NY. The family will provide their own flowers.
