HILL, HERBERT O.

Mr. and Mrs. Everett Minard, 535 Dundee Ave., have just returned from Richmond, Va., where they attended funeral services for Herbert O. Hill, 39, a former resident of Waterloo, who died there on March 9 [1962]. Burial was at Richmond.

Mr. Hill was born and reared in Waterloo and left here about 11 years ago. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hans C. Hill. He was employed as a city fireman at Richmond. He suffered a heart attack after being overcome by smoke while fighting a fire and died in a hospital that same day.

Surviving is his widow, the former Helen Yeatts at Richmond. He is also survived by a cousin, LeRoy Hill of Des Moines, and by several aunts.
