HERRMANN, DONALD F.

Donald F. Herrmann, formerly of West Orange, NJ, died on Wednesday, February 7, 2007, at Barnes-Jewish Extended Care. Born in Orange, NJ on December 20, 1924, he was the son of the late Fred and Helen Lind-LaWall Herrmann. He served four years in the U.S. Marine Corps, 28 months in the Pacific Theater during World War II. He attended the Newark College of Engineering, now NJIT, then relocated to St. Louis in 1948. He worked in advertising before becoming editor and publisher of the Clayton Leader. Surviving are two sisters, Jean Voorhees and Alice Flynn, both of Manasquan, NJ, several nieces and nephews, and many friends. Arrangements by St. Louis Cremation.
