HEISLER, NOEL D.
Noel D. Heisler, 60, T4762 Morgan Lane, Wausau, died at 6:30 a.m. Friday [August 16, 1985] in Wausau Hospital Center. He owned and operated the former Heisler Beverage Co. from 1964 to 1979.
Mr. Heisler was born in Wausau, Dec. 26, 1924, son of June Heisler, Wausau, and the late John W. Heisler. He was married in Dubuque, Iowa, May 16, 1947, to Virginia Voss who survives.
He had been employed as a draft specialist for Zastrow The Beer Man distributors since 1979. He was a branch manager for the Dictaphone Corp. from 1950 to 1964.
Mr. Heisler was a member and had served as president and secretary of the former Marathon and Lincoln County Beer Distributors Association. He was a member of the Wausau Noon Optimist Club. He served in the Marine Corps during World War II with the 1st Marine Raider Battalion and later with the 4th Marine Regiment of the 6th Marine Division.
Survivors besides his wife, Virginia and his mother, include a daughter, Mrs. Brent (Renee) Schepp, Wausau; and a brother, John A., Wausau.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Helke West Chapel, Wausau. The Rev. Donald Baumann, pastor of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Wausau, will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
