CARSON CITY – Robert Walter Hass, 53, a resident of Carson City the last 14 years, died in a Carson City hospital Thursday [July 6, 1976].

He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, Oct. 31, 1924. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the Marine Corps.

At the time of his death he was the owner-manager of Bonanza Realty in Carson City.

Hass was a member of the Carson-Douglas-Tahoe Board of Realtors, Chamber of Commerce, Industrial Development Committee, Elks Lodge and the Eagle Lodge, all in Carson City.

Survivors include his widow, Nellie, sons, William and Arnold, and brother, Harold, all of Carson City; daughters, Shelly of Carson City and Trudy Tolman of Great Falls, Mont.; mother, Marion Hass of Jamestown, N.Y., and one granddaughter.

A funeral is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Monday at Walton’s Chapel of the Valley, Carson City, with burial at the Lone Mountain Cemetery, Carson City.
