HARN, GRAYDON M., JR.

Graydon “Don” Muir Harn Jr., 81, of Loma Rica died Sept. 27, 2005, at his residence.

Born in Woodbury, N.J., he was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 20 years.

He was a fish and game warden.

He was a member of the Disabled Veteran’s Association; Mountain Range 18 Masonic Lodge; Napa Valley 93 Masonic Lodge; Fish and Game Wardens Association; and the Marine Raider Association.

He served as a U.S. Marine Raider during World War II in the South Pacific.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Josephine Harn of Loma Rica; two daughters, Julie Cole of Yuba Ctiy and Kathe Harn of Woodstock, Ga.; a son, Grady Harn of Conifer, Colo.; a brother, Alvin Harn of Rockaway Beach, Ore.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Donations may be made to Fremont Rideout Hospice, American Cancer Society, Disabled Veteran’s Association or the U. S. Marine Raider Association.

Services: A celebration of life is scheduled at 10 a.m. Friday at Gridley-Biggs Cemetery, 2023 Highway 99, Gridley. Leland Pauly of the Mountain Range 18 Masonic Lodge will officiate.
