GILMAN, HUGH M.

Hugh M. Gilman passed away April 28, 1997. Born in New York in 1920, He has resided in Los Angeles since 1946. He graduated from Brooklyn College, UCLA Business Management Program, and the University of West Los Angeles Law School. He was a member of the State Bar of California and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. During World War II, he served as a major in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was an engineer for the Los Angeles Department of Transportation for over 35 years.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Margaret “Peggy”; his son, Tim; daughter, Peggy Ann Gould and four granddaughters.

Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 2 at St. Augustine Church, Jasmine at Washington Blvd., Culver City. Gates, Kingsley & Gates/Smith-Salsbury directors.
