GFELLER, LESTER R.

Gfeller, Lester R., 82, of Lincoln, died Wednesday [February 7, 2007]. He was born to Lester F. & Mamie (Shane) Gfeller on March 10, 1924 in Junction City, Kansas. Lester was a World War II United States Marine Corps Veteran. He was a member of the Marine Raider Association, Lincoln Garden Club, & Wachiska Audubon Society. He attended Cathedral of the Risen Christ. Lester was also a longtime volunteer with Catholic Social Services & the Pink Sisters. He was an avid gardener & fisherman.

Survivors: Sons & daughters-in-law, Bruce & Janet Gfeller, Lincoln, Jeff & Donna Gfeller, St. Louis, MO; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother & sister-in-law, Lee & Rusty Gfeller, Roach, MO; sister, Virginia Richter, Branson, MO; numerous nieces, nephews.
