GAINES, FRANK A.

Reburial services for Cpl. Frank A. Gaines, 22, U.S. Marine who was killed on Okinawa April 6, 1945, will be held at the Osborn Chapel at 2 p.m. tomorrow.

The Rev. A. B. Kearns, assistant pastor of St. John’s Catholic Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery.

Cpl. Gaines was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gaines of Ruston. He is also survived by one brother, William Pavey Gaines of Shreveport, two sisters, Mrs. Virgil E. Robbins of St. John’s, Mich., and Miss Marion Gaines of Ruston; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Francis C. Pavey of Houston, Texas, and his paternal grandfather, W. T. Gaines of Ruston.

Pallbearers will be M. Sgt. J. E. Hill, M. Sgt. T. T. Atkins, S. Sgt. R. Lemoy, Sgt. V. L. Cooksey, Sgt. W. B. Gormin and Cpl. S. E. Causey.
