FREDERICK, RUSSELL H.

MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP – Russell Harry Frederick, 43, of 44 Dogwood Rd., died yesterday [June 17, 1962] at Riverview Hospital, Red Bank.

Mr. Frederick served in the Marine Corps during World War II and was wounded in the South Pacific. He participated in the battles of Guadalcanal and the Solomon Islands.

He was born in East Orange and was graduated from Bloomfield High School. Mr. Frederick also attended Newark Academy. While in high school, he played baseball, basketball, and football.

Mr. Frederick was an industrial oils salesman Adam Cook’s Sons Inc., Linden. He was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church, Montclair.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Doris Leinbach Frederick; two sons, Russell H. Jr. and William B., and two daughters, Gail and Susan, all at home, and his mother, Mrs. Margaret Bell Frederick, Short Hills.

The Worden Funeral Home, Red Bank, is in charge of arrangements.
