EVERETT, CHARLES A., JR.

BUDE, Miss. – Services for Charles A. Everett Jr. were at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church with the Revs. Thurston Brice, Darnell Archie and Franklin Haire officiating. Burial was in Midway Cemetery under direction of Franklin’s, Meadville.

Everett, 72, of Meadville died Sunday Nov. 21, 1993, in Jackson Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

He received a doctorate of pharmacology from Loyola University. He was a U.S. Marine veteran of World War II and a lifetime member of First Marine Raider Battalion. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart and numerous other medals.

Survivors include his wife, Hilda Everett of Meadville; one son, Perry Everett of Alexandria, La.; and three grandchildren.
