EICHER, JAMES W.

James W. Eicher, aged 40, of Freemont Road, West Sayville died on Saturday [June 27, 1964] at Southside Hospital. Mr. Eicher was born in Badaxe, Mich. and had spent most of his life in Michigan. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. Four years ago he moved from Ishpeming, Mich. to West Sayville. He was an accountant with the firm of Rogers and Butler in New York City.

Mr. Eicher is survived by his wife, Margaret; a daughter, Kathleen; six sons, Scott, Ronald, Robert, Steven, Thomas and William, all of West Sayville. He is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Blanche Bright of Tucson, Ariz.

The rosary was said at Raynor’s Chapel, Sayville, Monday evening, and a requiem mass was held at St. Lawrence’s R. C. Church on Tuesday morning. Interment was in St. Lawrence’s Cemetery, Sayville.
