EDL, EUGENE F.

Eugene F. Edl, age 79, of Wenonah died Saturday [December 15, 2001] in the VA Hospital Wilmington, DE. Mr. Edl was born in Paulsboro and lived in Wenonah for the last 43 years. He served in the Marine Corps’ 2nd Raider Battalion during WW2 was a member of the Arthur Holeton American Legion Post #192 of Wenonah and Paulsboro Masonic Lodge. He was a former member of the Deptford Rotary. Mr. Edl had worked for Jones Ceilings of Cherry Hill and Electric Mobility of Sewell. He was also an avid reader. Husband of the late Letha (nee Henry) Edl he is survived by a son Mark H. Edl and his wife Janet and a sister Isabel Baker. Relatives and friends may call Friday from 7 to 9 PM at the Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Mantua. Funeral Services will be 10 AM Saturday at the funeral home.
