DOW, ROBERT E.

Services for Robert E. Dow will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Lambert Funeral Home 46401 Ann Arbor Road, Plymouth.

Mr. Dow, 63, died Friday [February 25, 1980] at his home in Redford Township. He was a retired truck driver with Chrysler Corp.

Mr. Dow was a veteran of World War II, where he was awarded the Silver Star and Purple Heart with the 4th Marine Raider Battalion at New Georgia in the Solomon Islands.

He was a member of the U.S. Marine Raider Association, the 1st Marine Division Association and the Disabled American Veterans and was a 32nd degree member of Zion Lodge 1 F&AM.

Mr. Dow is survived by his wife, Delphine; one sister and a brother.
