COPE, ROBERT

Robert Cope, 61, 5312 Hollansburg-Arcanum Road, Arcanum, died Monday morning [May 5, 1986] at his residence.

Mr. Cope was born Oct. 17, 1924 in Hamilton. He was the son of the late Cash and Nebraska (Campbell) Cope.

Mr. Cope was the former owner of Bob’s Bumper Shop in Miamisburg, and a Marine Corps veteran of World War II.

Surviving are his wife, Nelda (Fannin); six daughters, Mrs. John (Patricia) Maher of Tampa, Fla., Mrs. Cheryl Broedel of Indianapolis, Ind., Mrs. Jay (Linda) Dunathan of Carmel, Ind., Mrs. William (Janet) Scott and Mrs. Dale (Debra) Francis, both of Arcanum, and Mrs. Troy (Barbara) Dodridge of Fairborn; one son, Richard of Grissom Air Force Base, Ind.; one brother, Mickey of Virginia; one sister, Mrs. James (Charlotte) Roberts of Overpeck; 23 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, Arcanum, the Rev. Peter Shumar officiating. Burial will be in Camden Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
