BRADY, KLEIN E.

Klein Brady, 95, of Amarillo, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2017.

Memorial Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 28, 2017 at the Continental Parlor at 1300 S. Jackson, with Park Central Pastors Alan Williamson, Darrell Burton, and Kevin Clowe as officiants. Inurnment will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, September 30, 2017 in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Topeka, KS. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia.

Klein was born on December 9, 1921 in Lamar, CO to Bosker and Anna Brady. Klein proudly served with the U.S. Marine Raiders in WWII, an elite amphibious unit. He was blessed with three wives and all preceded him in death. He spent most of his life in Topeka, KS before moving to Amarillo in 2012. He enjoyed the last season of his life at the Continental.

He loved to play golf and gamble and enjoyed investing in the market. He was a loving and kind father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He found joy in giving to his family and to those in need.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and three wives, Chettie Brady, Leta Brady, and Louise Cosby Brady.

Klein is survived by his daughter, Vicki Brooks and husband, Marc of Amarillo; his stepson, Bernie Cosby and wife, Wanda of Missouri; his brother, Lawrence Brady and wife, Mary of Lawrence, KS; three grandchildren, Chris Brooks and wife, Sheena of Madison, Mississippi, Jamie Brooks of Dallas, and Alissa Brooks of Amarillo; and three great-grandchildren, Owen, Hayden and baby Brooks.
