BALL, THEODORE R., JR.

Theodore Robert Ball Jr. died Sept. 27, 2006, at age 81.

Mr. Ball Jr. was born Dec. 28, 1924, in Cleveland. During World War II, he served in the Marine Corps, including in the Battle at Guadalcanal, and received a Purple Heart. He moved in 1964 to Portland, where he was a building contractor. In about 1959, he married Marilyn Wagner; they divorced.

Survivors include his son, Robert Blair; daughters, Randall L. and Judy; stepdaughter, Lindsay Wagner, the actress; former wife; and four grandchildren.
