BAGWELL, EARL C.

Mrs. Artie Holder Bagwell was notified by the War Department that her son, Pfc. Earl C. Bagwell, 21, was killed [July 21, 1944] in the South Pacific area. He had been in the service two years and three months and overseas 19 months. He is survived by his mother; five brothers, Oscar, Seaman Second Class, Eddie, W. C., Walter, and Henry Bagwell; six sisters, Mrs. Mary McDonald, Mrs. Alice Ellison, Mrs. Ethel Howard, Mrs. Lorine Adams, Margie and Eunice Bagwell, and his grandmother, Mrs. D. S. Holder.
