    WINNEMUCCA, March 5 (Special)—Reported killed in action [November 11, 1942] in the Solomon Islands is Corpl. John D. Bennett of the United States Raider Marines. Corporal Bennett, who enlisted in the Marine Corps several months before Pearl Harbor, worked at the Tungsten mine and Getchell mine for several years.
